I just got this fantastic news from Sangeeta:

I cried a few tears of joy when I read her email. Huge thanks to all who have been praying for our adoption clearances. We hope you'll keep praying for the out-of-state clearances, too, and of course that God would be preparing a birthmother and baby who are the ones meant for our family.
We are finally an official WAITING FAMILY!
(UPDATED: Just a quick clarification that even though we are a waiting family, birthmoms who are due right away still won't be shown our profile because we're not immediately certified for foster care, which is what we'd technically be doing before the adoption is official. So that's why we're praying for those out-of-state clearances: when they come through, we'll be certified for everything.)

Congrats on being officially "approved"! I pray that your wait is a short one! We're fostering 2 beautiful little girls right now. It's not always easy but it's oh so rewarding! If we're lucky, we might get to adopt one of them. :)
