While We're Waiting

Thanks to my friend, Cherissa, for sharing the video below and also for letting me know it's blog month at Compassion International.  Have you heard of them?  We are just beginning sponsorship of a child in Uganda through Compassion.  Our Compassion child, Peter, is older than Jonathan but has the same birthday.  I hope that, through caring for Peter, we can teach Jonathan that the world is a bigger place than our little community here and that it's our responsibility and privilege to love others in Jesus' name.  If you want to read another point of view, you can take a look at this blog post by one of our favorite artists, Shaun Groves.
