Glitch in the Process

Yes, a glitch!  I received an email from our wonderful adoption worker, Sangeeta, today.  Thank goodness she is checking on things for us.

Apparently, our fingerprint clearances are trickling in, but since we've lived in another state in the past two years, there is another form we need to fill out an take in to the Live Scan place (thank goodness that's just at the local police department) and get scanned again.  Despite the fact that we checked the "FBI" box last time...this was something Bethany didn't even know about.  I guess there are not many out-of-state folks around here (not very surprising) so we are paving the way for the next hopeful adoptive family from out of state.  They, at least, will know about this beforehand.  :)

An appropriate quote from Sangeeta's email:  "I can't believe there's a glitch here......but it would seem so. God, give us patience (me included)."

Friends, this is truly aggravating.  But what can we do?

We can go back down to the police department, get scanned again, and wait.  We did not pray for patience, but we are certainly going to develop it.  Or make ourselves crazy.  So, I'll choose patience!
